Corin Sworn

Corin Sworn (b.1976, London) lives and works in Glasgow.  She studied Psychology and Art History at the University of British Columbia and Integrated Media at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver. She completed her MFA at the Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow  in 2009. Sworn represented Scotland at the 2013 Venice Biennale and was awarded the Max Mara Art Prize for Women in 2014. She was the recipient of the Leverhulme Prize in 2016 and is currently a Professor at Northumbria School of Design, Newcastle.

Her works are held in the public collections of the Government Art Collection, England; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Collezione Maramotti, Reggio Emilia; The McManus, Dundee and Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow.
